Itinerary 

Morning

• Take the bus from Florence to Greve in Chianti (SITA bus, ~1h15).
  
  

• Stroll around Piazza Matteotti and enjoy coffee at a local bar.
  
  

• From Greve, short taxi/transfer (or in some cases a walk, depending on time/fitness) to Castello di Verrazzano → guided tour & wine cellars.
  
  

Lunch

• Lunch at Verrazzano (they often offer tasting menus) or return to Greve for a trattoria lunch.
  
  

Afternoon

• From Greve, continue by bus or transfer toward Castellina in Chianti or Gaiole in Chianti (connections exist but can be limited — some flexibility required).
  
  

• Visit Castello di Brolio near Gaiole (taxi needed from Gaiole, ~20 minutes). Explore castle grounds & views.
  
  

Evening

• Return by bus to Florence (depending on schedule).
  
  

• Arrival back in Florence early evening (~7:00–8:00 pm).
