Theme: Art, architecture, and the genius minds of Florence
Step inside Florence’s marble heart and trace the dialogue between space, light, and stone. This walk begins near the Piazza del Duomo, where we explore the facades of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery, and Giotto’s bell tower. From there, we wander through narrow Renaissance streets to Orsanmichele, pausing to admire its guild sculptures, then slip into hidden cloisters and lesser-known chapels that reveal Florence’s layers of sacred and civic life.
Along the way, we explore how artists like Brunelleschi, Donatello and Michelangelo shaped the city’s visual language — turning Florence into an open-air museum of proportion and genius.
Optional finale: a coffee or gelato stop in a historic café where the city’s intellectuals once gathered.
