A poetic riverside route that follows Florence’s historic artery — the Arno river. We begin at Ponte alle Grazie, walking westward along the Lungarno, crossing bridges as the light changes on the water. We trace the signs of medieval floods, hidden artisans’ workshops, fishermen’s towers, and old river ports now tucked behind quiet facades.
We’ll cross the Ponte Vecchio to reach the Oltrarno side, where the atmosphere softens — cobbled lanes, ivy walls, and a slower rhythm. Here we pause at small terraces overlooking the water and discover fragments of the city’s industrial past turned into creative spaces.
Optional finale: a drink at golden hour on the riverbank as the city lights begin to glow.
